InFocus and Alley of Light Exhibitions in Edmonton, Alberta

InFocus Photo (https://www.infocusphoto.ca/) showcases the best of Canadian contemporary photography. This year marked their 10th edition, and I was beyond excited when they asked me to be this year’s featured artist!

A Q&A between myself and InFocus is included in the 10-year anniversary coffee table book, and my work was displayed in the group exhibition “Identity Ether” at the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton.

A solo exhibition of my mixed-media photographs are being displayed by the The Works’ Alley of Light outdoor lightbox gallery in Edmonton between February 1st to October 30th.

“My Work’s Life” series was originally created for an exhibition at the WKP Kennedy Gallery, North Bay a few years ago. This series speaks to the image as tangible art, and the photojournalist as a witness. To see these photographic paintings now displayed as light boxes on the streets of Edmonton brings a whole new level of meaning - it has brought light to the work in more ways than one.
