Working in a creative field is vulnerable in many, many ways. One of the things that keeps you going through times when you wonder if any of it matters, is to receive recognition like this!! The Bob Huggan Memorial Award for excellence in reporting and writing, and The Multimedia Award for overall excellence in and commitment to multimedia storytelling! Thank you to my professors at Loyalist College for these awards, and for giving me an incredible opportunity to grow. The past two years forced me to reflect on my passions and purpose more than ever before. I will be forever grateful. Congrats and good luck to my fellow graduates who are embarking on their own journeys through this incredibly rewarding and challenging field of photography, film, and storytelling.
